The Lion's Den 2021 Recap
Held on October 13 - 15th, 2021
Over 400 people attended the 8th annual event held at Samford University. Presented by Cedarworks, Inc., The Lion’s Den Main Event featured 3 companies: East African Power, Kijani Forestry, and Open Doors Centers. Their founders shared in front an audience of Samford students, Professional Summit attendees representing 7 countries and 15 states, and dozens more from Birmingham and the surrounding area. Five lions formed our panel with Keynote Speaker Mark Whitacre, Samford Student Camilla Lemons, Robert Bush of IBEC Ventures, Betsy Holloway of Samford, and Chuck Welden of WeldenField Development.
