Founder and Chairman | Capital III
Pete Ochs is founder and chairman of Capital III, an impact investment company with ventures in the United States and Central America. Guided by his faith and passion for transformation, Pete has dedicated his life to building prosperous businesses that honor God and advance human flourishing. Through Enterprise Stewardship, an initiative of Capital III, he equips marketplace leaders with tools to transform their personal lives and business enterprises for Kingdom impact.
Over the course of four decades, Pete has invested and operated companies in the energy, manufacturing, banking, and education sectors, often focusing on places marked by poverty or lack of opportunity, including prisons and developing countries. His mission is to educate, equip, and empower business leaders around the world to live for something greater than themselves by using their business platforms to impact the world for Christ.
Pete lives by four guiding principles: Honor God, Serve People, Pursue Excellence, and Steward Capital. These values, when applied to create economic, social, and spiritual capital, form the foundation of what he calls a “High Impact LIFE.”
Before founding Capital III, Pete spent eight years in commercial banking and has since helped launch and grow several nonprofit enterprises with his wife, Debbie. They live in Valley Center, Kansas, and are the proud parents of two children and grandparents to nine.
